If you've ever struggled to get a seat on a busy tube, this man might have the answer.
But it will mean giving up any hope of personal space - and if that's something you value, you might prefer to stand.
Dressed as a tube seat - complete with fabric - the man also offered a pole to help steady yourself, armrests and a complimentary newspaper, saying he wanted to offer the seat to people "less fortunate".
He then gestures to a man behind the camera and asks him to come and sit down on his knee.
Ironically, the man dressed as a seat is actually taking up a seat himself, as he invites other people to take the weight off.
The man who filmed the video said the man appeared to be with a group on their way to a fancy dress party.
He said: "When he initially got on the train, he wasn't acting in that way.
"But then he got quite a lot of funny looks and responses from people so started joking around and actually making use of his costume.
"I just thought it was absolutely hilarious and it had the whole carriage laughing."
The video was filmed on December 16 on the Jubilee line in central London.
