There are obviously no universal guidelines for what your sex life is supposed to look like when you're married.
In fact, for the most part, the only frame of reference we have for what other married people get up to are tired stereotypes, like how eventually the passion dies and things become routine or even nonexistent.
And while that might be true for some married people, it's definitely not everyone's experience.
Because how could it be? There are so many things that impact your sex life in a marriage — schedules, familiarity, kids, stress, convenience, just to name a few — that no two sex lives can be exactly the same.
